What is FSA/HSA?

FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) are financial accounts where you are setting aside pre-tax money from your paycheck to pay for health expenses that are not covered by your insurance.

Do you accept FSA Debit Cards?

Great news, yes we do!  There are 2 ways you can buy our 100% custom-made orthotics using your FSA/HSA dollars:

1. With an FSA Debit Card

If you have an FSA debit card, complete your purchase just as you would with any other credit card.

2. Without an FSA Debit Card

No card, no problem! Buying custom orthotics from Orthotics Direct through this route is easy. Complete your order, and we’ll send you an itemized receipt after your purchase.

Are custom orthotic insoles eligible for reimbursement through an FSA or HSA?

Typically, custom orthotics aimed at addressing specific conditions like plantar fasciitis can qualify for reimbursement under your FSA or HSA. It's advisable to consult your plan provider to confirm your coverage.

Can I use my FSA/HSA for all types of insoles?

Orthotics Direct offers insoles that are FSA and HSA compatible. With a doctor's prescription, various shoe insoles and orthotic aids can be eligible for coverage under your HSA or purchasable using your FSA card. Notably, not every FSA/HSA plan require a prescription.

What's the process for utilizing my HSA funds for orthotics?

To utilize your HSA funds for orthotics, you may require a prescription from a qualified healthcare provider, such as a podiatrist, along with a formal diagnosis. Following this, you can submit a claim to your HSA and complete the reimbursement process. It's recommended to communicate with your benefits plan provider for comprehensive guidance.

Are arch supports considered FSA eligible?

Adequate arch support, provided by orthotic insoles, is crucial for foot health and the alleviation and prevention of various foot conditions. Consequently, Orthotics Direct arch support insoles are recognized as FSA and HSA eligible.

HSA/FSA Reimbursement Policy

Although our products and services are eligible for purchase with HSA or FSA cards, we do not guarantee that your HSA/FSA will reimburse you for purchases made at Orthotics Direct.

If your HSA/FSA card is declined during checkout, please contact your HSA/FSA program for assistance. If your HSA/FSA card is accepted but your HSA/FSA program later denies coverage, please reach out to your HSA/FSA provider. We are unable to assist with HSA/FSA coverage issues, provide additional documentation, or complete any forms if there is a coverage denial or any other issue with HSA/FSA coverage.
